The food vendors at Juneteenth create a food lover's paradise, offering a diverse and delectable range of options. A stroll through the food court will not only satisfy your taste buds but it offers a variety of tasty treats, making the event a memorable and delicious experience for all. From soul food to BBQ to Caribbean influence and more!
HISTORY EXHIBITS
All Day
Learn the history leading to and following the Juneteenth day in 1865 and view artifacts showcasing the Black experience of locals at the Juneteenth display. The Edward Kyzer Newberry Firehouse Conference Center: 1227 McKibben Street, Newberry Museum: 1300 Friend Street.
Take your education a step further by visiting the Newberry Museum to learn about notable Black Newberrians and local Black history.
