Juneteenth Celebration.
Stage Schedule

10am: Welcome & "Lift Every Voice and Sing"
10:15-10:45am: Zumba
10:45-11:45am: Live DJ
12-1pm: TALENT SHOW

classic and muscle cars brought
by local owners!

Learn the history leading to and following the Juneteenth day in 1865 and view artifacts showcasing the Black experience of locals at the Juneteenth display in the Newberry Opera House. Take your education a step further by visiting the Newberry Museum to learn about notable Black Newberrians and local Black history. Newberry Opera House: 1201 McKibben Street, Newberry Museum: 1300 Friend Street.
Throughout Event Area
View the dozens of local, businesses featured along Main Street. Everything from craft and art goods to bakers to jewelry to African print clothiers! Visit food vendors surrounding Community Hall, representing local, restaurants, food trucks, caterers, and bartenders. From soul food to BBQ to Caribbean influence and more!
