Join us for the March at

9:45 am from Bethlehem Baptist  to Memorial Park in down town, for the official  Welcome and Opening Ceremony  of the 4th annual

Newberry

Juneteenth Celebration.

Stage Schedule

Enjoy live, local entertainment throughout the event on the stage by Memorial Park.

  • 10 am Welcome, Proclamation, Lift Every Voice & Sing

  • 10:45 am Zumba

  • 11:30 am Step & Praise Dance

  • 12:45 pm Afrocentric Fashion Show

  • 2:30- 4:00 pm  The Terrence Young Experience

  • Arts & Crafts for kids hosted by Newberry Arts Center  located at 1200 Main St 

  • Inflatable Slide & Game truck located in on McKibben St. in the Coke Mural parking lot.

Food Court

The food vendors at Juneteenth create a food lover's paradise, offering a diverse and delectable range of options.  A stroll through the food court will not only satisfy your taste buds but it offers a variety of tasty treats, making the event a memorable  and delicious experience for all.

All Day

Learn the history leading to and following the Juneteenth day in 1865 and view artifacts showcasing the Black experience of locals at the Juneteenth display. The Edward Kyzer Newberry Firehouse Conference Center: 1227 McKibben Street, Newberry Museum: 1300 Friend Street.

Take your education a step further by visiting the Newberry Museum to learn about notable Black Newberrians and local Black history.

Throughout Event Area

View the  businesses featured along Main Street. Everything from craft and art goods to jewelry to handmade clothing! Visit food vendors surrounding

Community Hall, representing local, restaurants, food trucks, caterers, and bartenders. From soul food to BBQ to Caribbean influence and more!
